INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

“We do not heal the past by dwelling there; we heal the past by living fully in the present”

Symptoms that you might need individual psychotherapy:

  1.  Everything you feel is intense and your feelings are making you dysfunctional.
  2.  You’ve suffered a trauma and you can’t seem to stop thinking about it.
  3.  You have unexplained and recurrent headaches, stomach-aches or a rundown immune system and even a diminished sex drive.
  4.  You have an overarching sense of emptiness and your relations are strained.
  5.  A sense that problems never improve, despite receiving help from friends and family.
  6.  You’re using a substance(drugs/alcohol/food) to cope.
  7.  You’re getting bad feedback at work. You feel disconnected from your job and all other activities, even if it used to make you happy at some point in time.
  8.  A psychiatrist has diagnosed you with depression/bipolar disorder/generalized anxiety disorder/post-traumatic stress or any other disorder and has recommended psychotherapy.
